Make sure to select the county where you will be married, not just where you currently live.

One of the perks of filing for a marriage license in Connecticut is that there is NO waiting period! The marriage license is valid for 65 days from issuance, so make sure to plan accordingly.  Also, if you appear at the County Clerk’s office right before they close, you will have to wait until the following day to obtain your marriage license! Bottom line: arrive 30 minutes before the clerk’s office closes to obtain a marriage license.
